Global Funds Distribution believes that it can add substantial value to selected fund managers by assuming mandates intended to increase the size, quality and diversity of their investor bases. GFD promote medium sized, high quality managers who have limited exposure to the global investor community or to specifically country or region. GFD target investor segments are regional banks, private bank, retail platform, asset manager,  insurance companies, pension funds, family offices and other institutional investors seeking to invest proprietary and/or client funds.

GFD typically distribute twelve to eighteen fund managers at any given time. GFD do not market more than one fund focusing on a particular strategy or sector theme so that each is unique.

Our role covers the entire distribution cycle, from authorization and registration support, introduction, due diligence, administration support, information management, deal closing and ongoing investor coverage, marketing, communication and event management – the latter is especially important during periods of uncertain performance.

Effective fund distribution is key to success in the global funds market as new borders open and investment structures become ever more complex. Moving to an open architecture, in addition to the multiplication of distribution channels, presents a growing range of operational challenges and opportunities for players operating throughout the entire investment fund value chain. A growing focus is placed on transparency, risk management and bottom line investment performance.
